Hello lovelies, one thing that I believe EVERYONE has in common is that we love chilling out, popping popcorn, laying back with our bestfried, lover, or even solo, and watching some movies on netflix! I know I love it, and find myself doing it whenever possible. Because of having spent a significant amount of time with Netflix and having watched probably 100's of movies, I am bringing you my 10 must watch movie list! This blog offers a varity of movie genres ranging from comedy, family, suspense, horror, and faith based movies. These are movies that I have found myself in awe at the end of watching and wishing that there were movies exactly like them. So here goes! Enjoy :)
1. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
(2013) Action/Thriller, Rated: PG-13
Actors: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Donald Sutherland, Lenny Kravitz.
This is the second installment of the Hunger Games series. I am a Hunger Games junkie and the movies are so easy to get into and keep you interested until the end credits.

"After arriving safely home from their unprecedented victory in the 74th Annual Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) discover that they must do a quick turnaround and begin a Victors Tour. 2. How to Train your Dragon 2
(2014) Fantasy/Action/Family, Rated: PG
Actors: Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Gerard Butler, Cate Blanchett, Craig Ferguson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Kristen Wiig
This is the second movie in the "How to Train your Dragon" series. This is a family fantasy movie that I have enjoyed with my smaller children as well as my husband. We all found it very entertaining and hilarious. If you are ever in search of a family friendly animation, look no further!

"Five years have passed since Hiccup and Toothless united the dragons and Vikings of Berk. Now, they spend their time charting the island's unmapped territories. During one of their adventures, the pair discover a secret cave that houses hundreds of wild dragons -- and a mysterious dragon rider who turns out to be Hiccup's long-lost mother, Valka (Cate Blanchett). Hiccup and Toothless then find themselves at the center of a battle to protect Berk from a power-hungry warrior named Drago."
3. Lawless
(2012) Crime/Drama, Rated R
Actors: Tom Hardy, Shia Labeouf, Jessica Chastain, Guy Pearce, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Mia Wasikowska, Dane DeHaan, Eric Mendenhall
This is a crime movie based on real events in 1930's Franklin County Virginia. It gets it's plot from the book " The Wettest County in the World". I thoroughly enjoyed this movie with my husband. I would not recommend it as a family movie due to language, violence, and nudity, but this movie is very entertaining and I have found myself watching it multiple times.

In 1931, the Bondurant brothers of Franklin County, Va., run a multipurpose backwoods establishment that hides their true business, bootlegging. Middle brother Forrest (Tom Hardy) is the brain of the operation; older Howard (Jason Clarke) is the brawn, and younger Jack (Shia LaBeouf), the lookout. Though the local police have taken bribes and left the brothers alone, a violent war erupts when a sadistic lawman (Guy Pearce) from Chicago arrives and tries to shut down the Bondurants operation."
4. You're Next
(2011) Thriller/Horror, Rated R
Actors: Sharni Vinson, Joe Swanberg, A.J Bowen, Ti West, Simon Barrett, Barbara Crampton, Amy Seimetz.
This is a scary movie with a twist that kept me guessing. I love movies that are'nt so straight forward and have a hint of mystery and this movie was exactly that.

"The Davisons, an upper-class family, are extremely wealthy -- but also estranged. In an attempt to mend their broken family ties, Aubrey (Barbara Crampton) and Paul (Rob Moran) Davison decide to celebrate their wedding anniversary by inviting their four children and their children's significant others to their weekend estate. The celebration gets off to a rocky start, but when crossbow-wielding assailants in animal masks suddenly attack, the Davisons must pull together or die."
5. Olympus Has Fallen
(2013) Thriller/Action, Rated R
Actors: Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, Rick Yune, Angela Bassett, Ashley Judd, Dylan Mcdermott.
As soon as this movie started, I knew it was going to intrigue me. Aside from the main charachter eye candy, the plot is one that is entirely realistic and makes you proud to be an American! This has become a personal favorite of mine.

"The unthinkable happens when heavily armed and highly trained terrorists launch a bold daytime attack on the White House. The building is overrun, and President Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart) and his staff are taken hostage. Luckily for Asher, former presidential security officer Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) is on the scene. With time running out, it's up to Banning to locate Asher's son before the extremists do and rescue the president before his captors unleash their ultimate plan."
6. Unconditional
(2012) Drama/Inspirational, PG-13
Actor: Michael Ealy, Lynn Collins, Kwesi Boakye, Bruce Mcgill, Diego Klatenhoff, Cedric Pendleton, Gabriella Phillips.
This one pulled on my heart strings multiple times. With a strong female lead who is fighting her way through life after losing her husband and being reunited with her childhood bestfriend, this movie is sure to bring out the kleenex and make you pull your loved ones a bit closer.

"Samantha has a storybook life then loses her faith when her husband is killed in a senseless act of violence. Sam's faith reignites when she meets a childhood friend who cares for children in his under-resourced neighborhood."
7. World War Z
(2013) Action/Adventure/Horror PG-13
Actors: Brad Pitt, Mirielle Enos, Danielle Kertesz, James Badge Dale, Ludi Boeken, Matthew Fox, Fana Mokoena, David Morsee, Elyes Gabel, Peter Capaldi.
Not your typical zombie movie, Brad Pitt takes on the role of the savior of the universe in this adventure film. I was on the edge of my seat the entire movie, and its sure to not be a movie that you'll forget.

"United Nations employee Gerry Lane traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments, and threatening to destroy humanity itself."
8. Silver Linings Playbook
(2012) Drama Film/ Comedy Drama Rated R
Actors: Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro, Jacki Weaver, Chris Tucker, Anupa, Kher, Julia Stiles.
If you want a film that will keep you laughing the whole way through, this is the one! This is definitely a movie for the adults as it contains sexual content and harsh language. See summary for plot details.

"After losing his job and wife, and spending time in a mental institution, Pat Solatano (Bradley Cooper) winds up living with his parents (Robert De Niro, Jacki Weaver). 9. House at the End of the Street

Actors: Jennifer Lawrence, Max Thieriot, Elisabeth Shue, Gil Bellows, Nolan Gerard Funk, Jordan Hayes, Allie Macdonald
So, I may be on a Jennifer Lawrence kick, but I am a sucker for mystery horror films. Another one with a huge twist, this will keep you glued to the television and make you want to call your mommy to come and keep you safe!

10. Stand By Me

Actor:River Phoenix, Wil Wheaton, Corey Feldman, Jerry O'Connel, Kiefer Sutherland, John Cusack, Richard Dreyfuss.
An oldie but a goodie, this movie will forever be on my favorites list. A pretty realistic look into the lives of young boys who take a journey together and learn things about themselves and each other that will change their lives forever.

"After learning that a stranger has been accidentally killed near their rural homes, four Oregon boys decide to go see the body.
