The Only 5 Boot Styles That Matter This Season
Winter equals snow (hopefully), fun holidays, and BOOTS! I love boots as one of my favorite shoe choices because of the functionality first and foremost, but also because of the different ways to mix and match with outfit choices of the season. Check out these 5 must have boot styles that are the only ones we’re rocking with this season!
Ankle Boots/Booties
I’ve never actually owned a pair of booties, but I am changing that for 2016. Booties are the easiest way to amp an outfit up all the way, turn a day look into a night look, and bring a little extra flare to your entire appearance.
Thigh High/Over The Knee
Thigh high boots are my favorite style of boots. I usually wear skinny jeans, yoga pants/leggings, or my bare legs out, and these boots give me more length to my body (I’m only 5’4). I especially wear these going from work to a blogging function because they’re
casual yet sexy enough. You guys know versatility is my thing!
Embellished Boots
Embellished boots for me helps eliminate all unnecessary “accessories”. I can wear my signature all black pant suit and use a pair of embellished shoes as my statement accessory. More bang for your buck and a different way to accessorize.
Patch Work Boots
Just like patch work hand bags, patch work boots are a definite yes this season. Some with a pop of colors, and some with a western flare, either way I would rock them all!
Rain Boots
This is something I’ve been seeing a lot of these past few months. Wearing rain boots…when it’s not raining? Yep, ladies are doing it and I actually think it’s quite chic! Red, olive, blue, yellow, black, and polka dot. Rain boots not only keep your tootsies dry but sets your outfit off the right way.
